wish i could set different desktops based on calendar (days of week/month/year/etc.) otherwise, excellent. love it.
Wonderful. The included picture sets were EXACTLY what I was looking for. Great app.
I thought I'd be annoyed, but I LOVE it. It even works with my two displays.

how do you install this bundle?
Once you've installed SIMBL, add this plugin to ~/Library/Application Support/SIMBL/Plugins.

fixed link.
oh my god, they charge money for this?
diggin_it, these are benedectine monks living in freaking bangladesh! so what if you do not like the software, they are just trying to raise money for their monastery. also, apparently they are quite involved with inter-religious dialogue, which is a good thing and something this world needs more of. i mean although i do not use the software and am not christian myself, i think people should take it a little easier on these peaceful ascetics. besides, they offer freeware applications as well, and when was the last time you met a coding monk?

what make this better than desktop manager for me is the ability to bind and app to a specific desktop. not that easy to figure out, but works great after you get it set up.
As other do, I use this for when I'm running Parallels for Windows XP. 2 keyboard strokes and a cool half-second flip animation later I'm in full screen Windows just like that.
This can bind the apps like desktop manager can.
It also doesn't "vanquish" the other open windows in other desktops when you quit it (Desktop manager is meant to put them alll into the original desktop but it doesn't...they just disappear)
Overall a very good app.
I tried this for a week since it seemed really slick, but I got frustrated with how it works. Somethings should be intuitive (e.g. adding/renaming desktops) but either aren't or just don't work.
Happily returned to Desktop Manager, which is stable, works excellent, and has the menubar pager (I love that).
Very nice. Nice and intuitive.
I also find that the alternstive desktop manager has the habit of deleting windows when switching back to one desktop.
This instability means that i'll keep with virtuedesktops for now :)
This is like Spaces in Tiger. They aren't continuing development on this app probally because when Leopard comes out, Spaces will replace this app. Very cool app though!
Like the app-binding to specific desktop. Hate that those pref's seem to be lost half the time it launches. Which is often, as it crashes a lot. The launchd log watching kluge (see Lingon) doesn't work for me, either. Switching to DesktopManager for now.
Very Unstable.
