This is one of those simple add-ons that makes the built-in Address Book easy to access. The quick key is much faster than spotlight and it displays more detail. Like LaunchBar, it's one of those apps I can't work without.
I don't understand why you need this tool, if you've got Launchbar. Launchbar does all that and MUCH MUCH more!
I love it because it is fast
simply fast a la quicksilver, but dedicated to contact

tickr = slide. New version.
Comment and replies on PlistEdit Pro:
I've worked with this to edit RealMac's RapidWeaver theme.plist files. It's easier to use than Apple's own "Property List Editor" which comes with the the Apple Developer Tools.

The DMG for mac works fine. Am using a G4 with OSX10.4.
The Mac version even features a great graphical launcher; great game!
Comment and replies on On The Job:
On the Job *****
Simple timer, easy to use. Down to earth. Hard working.
Billings ***
Integrated full service that's inflexible. Tall, Good Looking & Aloof.
iWork **
Complicated and messy. A well intentioned disaster.
The invoicing looks sharp.
I tried to make this.
On The Job is the ultimate Time tracking tool from the same developer that created Overflow. It's 'the ultimate' because it just about nails it when it comes to all the functionality that I would expect from an app like this. And it remains being slick, basic and simple. I once tried to make something like this myself... Don't know why I even bothered with this around.
It's great designed app which works out-of-the-box and definitely does its job, but for some people it might be too simple.
Personally I am working with about 12 different clients and On The Job doesn't allow me to organize all my data in satisfying way.
In short words:
If you are issuing invoices once per week, go with On The Job - if more, consider Billings...
Love it, I just wish it had some sort of job number of feature! would have been perfect, quite simple to add as well really.
Comment and replies on iFlash:
I prefer Genius, just 'cos it's free and is focused on performance.
Although iFlash has a categorised Deck Library with over 1000 examples which makes sharing cards so easy. It also has more flexibility such as the ability to use images and sound.
DO NOT BUY THIS APP UNTIL YOU HAVE TRIED PRO VOC!
Seriously, it is better (i.e. Asks you words) the iFlash, and is completely free!
This app i still good, it's just not worth it's money when there is a free app out there which does the same job better. If you do want to buy this, but don't have much money, then DO NOT BUY IT NOW AS IFLASH 3 IS COMING QUITE SOON.
Comment and replies on Genius:
There an online repository where people can share Genius documents:

Also check out the forum at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/genius-talk
Quite good, though it feels... incomplete.
I should mention I have yet to find a flash-card program that I like, though.
Comment and replies on Smultron:
Another option besides using Forrest Walter's brilliant icon replacements is to customise the toolbar to "text only" view for that minimal look.
It is lightweight simple and nice. Somehow it tends to get slow with large files but other than that, my editor of choice for quick PHP editing. I wish the author added built-in live php parsing (you can do it by simply calling the php -l command).
Icon replacements updated for version 2.1.2:

The icon for this journal app is great. It's just a "shiny book" but it looks so much better than the other icons I could mention. I've even used it to replace lesser icons on newer apps.
