The last version of this app was horrible and absolutely didn't work with my brand new S530 Mac keyboard/mouse. It completely disabled everything. I had to revert to the version that originally came with my keyboard/mouse.

If any of you have the nerve to give this one a go - let me know. Otherwise, I don't see a reason to upgrade at all.

Number one solution, as mentioned before, is USB Overdrive for any kind of need to program your mice, trackballs and whatnot devices. Tried and tested, never, ever, fails.

I have a Logitech Trackball (2 Buttons and a scroll wheel).
I don't have LCC. And I don't miss it.

Ugh, I was having all sorts of system instability issues, and it turned out to be a combination of this and the Application Enhancer it installs. Instead, I opted to buy SteerMouse (USB Overdrive is also ok), and no more problems with my system! Awaiting the day when Logitech will fix their buggy Mac software, or at least acknowledge their Mac software sucks.

They finally updated it for Leopard - version 2.4

One day down with no weirdness from it.

The latest version conflicts with my Open Vanilla input method, so I get rid of this Control Center, and I go straight to "ControllerMate". And it's way better than this Logitech driver.

I had been using LCC for a couple of years since I got my iBook. It worked without problems for a while. Then It started adding multiple mice and keyboards when I unplugged and then plugged the keyboard/mouse. This required a restart. The tracking on the screen became very choppy for no particular reason. Then, for no reason that I truly understand, when I would disconnect the USB receiver, I would be presented that dreaded Kernel Panic. That was the end of that.

I immediately went for ControllerMate. I was able to customize all of my LX500's special keys. I have had no problems with it after a week of use.

And no more kernel panic errors or application enhancer.

If you were wondering why Growl just stopped working just remove this POS from your system. I am not sure this was causing the weird hangs I had sometimes since I installed Leopard but definitely removing it made Growl work again.

Trashed it when it discovered it hindered the functionality of my favourite app: TextMate.
I hear it also causes an endless list of other serious problems kernel panics etc.
Avoid whenever possible.
More people should send angry emails to the developers - just like I did.

Seems like the newest version (2.6) is working much better than previous versions. I have tried everything out there, and this is the only app that gives me the kind of scrolling I've come to expect with MX/VX mice.

With the old version (2.4) I've had some problems with different applications. Now the 2.6 is more stable and I have no problems anymore.

Well, the app site provided is in Japanese - so it's hard for most of us to figure out what this app is supposed to do or the developer's intent. The download site is in French, which more of us can read. But many will have problems finding their country on the list so they can down load the demo (Etats Unis = USA). And I can't figure out what the error message is saying....

Not sure how this is better than any of the existing mindmapping apps in existence - Novamind for example is a kickass app and much cheaper.

Can any one post a comparison with NovaMind or similar?

Nice that they didn't just move over the Windows version. It has some interface quirks, but it looks much better than I thought it would.

This app seems to be buggy, as after installing and start up - it infinitely keeps asking your log in information.

I saw the same problem. I quit and restarted it and it stopped asking for login info. Then it started asking me to activate my google calendar every few minutes, so I had to disable that.
