Only reason I can think of using this for, would be to prevent my pc friends from receiving viruses going through my Mac. But I don't feel so much pity for them, using an obsolete OS, so I'll skip that.

Even that doesn't make any sense because it does only scan for Mac-viruses as far as I know!

Its a fantastic application.
But would the devs please, PLLLEAAAASE THINK ABOUT USING AN OTHER PAYMENT METHOD so you don't have to register a CRAPPY PAYPAL account for getting a license of this wonderful app?!
Thanks...

I would use this instead of Transmit if a Textmate bundle existed for it. Having one key command in Textmate to upload a file via Transmit is invaluable to me.

I think Transmits GUI is much smoother and efficient.

I've been using ForkLift since it was first in beta. Has been the only file manager that I've actually paid for. That said, the UI was always a bit of a mess (although functional). The new beta, however, is amazing. The UI is as beautiful as it is functional, Leopard frameworks are being harnessed (QuickLook in ForkLift was just what I needed) and it's just showing more and more promise as time goes on. ForkLift is definitely a worthy file manager.

To me, as silly as it may sound, an application's icon is everything. That's why I'd like to say, I think the original icon was really much more beautiful. This one looks too dark and somewhat weird.

the best finder-replacement imo

Depending on the task at hand I am using ForkLift more and more but it still lacks the punch of my FTP app of choice, Yummy, for critical tasks. Looking forward to seeing how this one develops.

Kinda nice IRC client but...
$20 for an IRC Client? What kind of bad joke is that?

I think I'll stick with Colloquy. It looks nice... but $20? No, thanks.

Until Linkinus supports more international text encodings, I'm sticking with Colloquy. Looks promising, though.

ill be sticking with Colloquy aswell. Doesnt really look like this has anymore features that justify the $20 price tag.

I only bought this over using Collaquay was the UI interface. The alternating colour tags for users in a chat is must for me.

I think I’ll buy it. I use Colloquy for my work but it’s very buggy

This is really THE best IRC client for Mac, no doubt!
Tons of features, perfect GUI and a good support by the dev himself.

I give it a 5 star

Fantastic client. Great features, far more stable than Colloquy, and being actively developed and supported to boot! $20 incredibly well spent.

Finally a real irc client for the mac. replacing whatever is out there. And a good mIRC alternative for the mac.. I've bought a bundle license and gave a copy to my friends who also switched from windows.
