Can't wait till it gets MSN support!

Runs great on my CoreDuo iMac.... but, can't connect on my G3 iBook.

It now has MSN support!

voice chat is not possible thts the biggest blunder of yahoo...

Ermm, "stunning interface"? "Best"? Maybe you should have a look at Adium or Proteus. No video, but UIs from another league. And customizable, too.

that msn support.. does that mean that I can add @msn users? or can I also login with an msn account or merge my msn account with yahoo? I would like to use the yahoo messenger, but I won't use the @yahoo mailadress and reconnect with all my friends..

I hate MSN Messenger. I highly recommend Adium, Proteus or iChat + Jabber

I don't know why someone would use this over Adium. I also don't know why someone would use hotmail, when you can register any email through MSN messenger (you can chat with a gmail account for example).

Whilst Adium is much better, it doesn't personal messages, which whilst aren't essential, are good to have around. And yes, in the ideal world I would use Jabber, but I've realised 90% of my friends wouldn't know what Jabber was if it hit them in the face, so that option is pretty useless :(

Personally, coming from a Windows background and using MSN Messenger since the very beginning, I've simply stuck with Microsoft Messenger naturally during my move to the Mac platform. I have tried Adium but I prefer Microsoft Messenger... for now anyway :)

Be nice to see more Windows Live Messenger features brought across though

I still keep using this over Adium because of the minor nice features it has. Also it wins aMSN in terms of Mac-looks (while I can't say this is the prettiest application made).

I agree with iiro. Also, I've been having some problems seeing my contacts' display pictures in Adium, something that has never happened with Messenger.

MS Messenger for Mac doesn't support many important features found in the Windows version. Adium doesn't have those featres either, but at least it's compatible with more chat services and offers themes. :)

Exactly, nothing new... Still the total lack of functionality.
So, basicly back to Adium, if it would only have those private messages.
