Could someone, please, make a similar app for POP mail? What I mean is a menuber item to check the POP account periodicaly and display the number of new messages.
There are quite a few that do this for Gmail but I cannot find a single one for POP accounts. There's only one widget (MailWidget), as far as I know.

Alfred App by zooshej
Really beautiful and simple to use.
Just plain awesome.
Even though Quicksilver is a great app too, it just does a way too much for what I need. It's also quite complicated.

TextExpander by pat_rick
If you ever have to use Windows for whatever reason and still want to be able to use your TextExpander snippets, I wrote Breevy (http://www.16software.com/breevy/) which is an app similar to TextExpander that can actually import your TextExpander snippets.

Clips: The clipboard reinvented by effk4y
Clips is... well, a good idea. It provides a nice and clean overview of what you've copied to the clipboard. You also get to categorize your "clips" into categories, which is a really nice feature.
I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but after categorizing (alot of) PHP-related clips under a "Programming"-category, they all vanished upon clearing the clipboard in the clip-organizer. I would've thought they would be saved, so that was a bit annoying. And the fact that Clips consistently ran with over 800Mb of memory-usage in the background was a dealbreaker for me... Sorry. Still like the concept, though.

Wow, talk about slick! One of those apps you didn't know you needed until you start using it.

Hyperspaces by effk4y
I like the idea of having separate wallpapers for each space, and this app does it quite well. However... I've been looking all over for an app / script that enables me to move the currently active window to any given space. Lets say I want to move Firefox from Space1 to Space4. This could be accomplished by pressing Ctrl-Cmd-4, for instance.
This is a common feature in all the VDM's I've tried on Linux (even one I tried for Windows 7). I was kinda hoping to see this feature in an app built on top of Spaces.
Why hasn't this functionality been implemented? It would be sooo useful!
