Palantir tries to guess the kind of file you drag and drop on it. yFlicks is a movie player based on Mac OS X's QuickTime Framework. But it's much more than that: yFlicks comprises a wide range of functionality, which previously required a slew of task-specific applications.

Keychain Access
The Keychain stores all your information to use encrypted disk images and to log onto file servers, FTP servers and Web servers. Mojo

If manually choosing the music is too much work, try using the playlist subscriptions. Choose any playlist to subscribe to, and Mojo will automatically download and update the latest changes to that playlist anytime the other user is online.

Synergy
Synergy is a tiny Cocoa application for Mac OS X 10.2 (and later) that puts three buttons to control iTunes in your menubar: previous track, next track, and play/pause; as well as providing you with visual feedback about the currently playing tune. Synergy can even automatically download and display the cover of the currently playing album. The Synergy controls, together with the ability to control iTunes via system-wide hot Key combinations, mean that Synergy provides the fastest way of skipping between songs when using the keyboard or the mouse; all this without having to switch to iTunes, or access its Dock menu.
