Cave Story ( どうくつ / Doukutsu )

This is one of those few true greats in freeware games. At first glance, it's a standard platformer. Go a bit deeper, though, and you'll find a complex storyline, impressive pixel animation, and at times shockingly difficult without being impossible.
Some games are hard because they're poorly designed; this one is hard because it's EXCELLENTLY designed.There's jumping, shooting, multiple weapons and upgrades, uniquely designed levels, and some fantastic bosses. Most anyone who's played it will tell you that it's one of the best games out there. Give it a try, and see if you agree.

This is a little app hidden in the extras folder of the growl disk image. It notifies you of any hardware events, like when you plug in your mouse. GarageBand is a software application that allows users to create a piece of music. It is developed by Apple Computer for Mac OS X.
The application is not aimed at professional musicians, but it is intended to help amateurs produce music easily. The application comes with 1,000 pre-recorded sampled loops, and 50 sampled or synthesized instruments which can be played using a MIDI keyboard connected to the computer, or using an on-screen keyboard.

Why? Well, for me, reading email is usually a work activity, while web browsing is mostly play. And so, when I check my email, I easily get distracted by other web sites. Separating Gmail from the rest of the internet helps me concentrate.
An experimental version, available on the web page, uses the latest versions of WebKit for better mail, docs and spreadsheets support (including rich text email composition).

Keychain Access
The Keychain stores all your information to use encrypted disk images and to log onto file servers, FTP servers and Web servers. Mac OS X automatically adds your .Mac account information to your Keychain. When you log in to Mac OS X, the system opens your Keychain. You don't have to enter your user name and passwords to access this data. You can set Mac OS X to lock your Keychain when the system sleeps or is inactive for a time. The system will ask you for your password the next time you try to access secure data. Other users on the system cannot access your Keychain or its data.

KisMAC
KisMAC is a free, open source network stumbler that operates in passive mode, allowing the program to run completely invisibly without sending any probe requests (unlike active scanners).

Pacifist 2.5.2 is a shareware application that opens Mac OS X .pkg package files, .dmg disk images, and .zip, .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2, and .xar file archives and allows you to extract individual files and folders out of them.
