Deep Sleep
About Deep Sleep
The default behavior of Mac OS X is to put sleeping computers in “hardware suspend” mode, during which the RAM is still powered on. This widget allows the computer to enter “software suspend” mode. Software suspend is a feature similar to what Windows calls “hibernation:” the computer consumes no power while sleeping, however the wake up process takes more time to complete.Hibernation is made possible by the Mac OS X Tiger v10.4.3 update. This operating system version is required.
Only the computers with “safe sleep” feature are officially supported. For now, the only computers with this feature are the PowerBook HD line of Apple laptops. Please read the included documentation for more information, including the possibilty to use this widget on unsupported computers.

GarageBand is a software application that allows users to create a piece of music. It is developed by Apple Computer for Mac OS X.
The application is not aimed at professional musicians, but it is intended to help amateurs produce music easily. JustLooking is designed to be used instead of the Preview application on your computer for browsing most image file formats. In particular, it has the following differences:

Mac GNU Privacy Guard
Mac GNU Privacy Guard (Mac GPG for short) is, after a fashion, the Mac OS X port of GnuPG, licensed under the GNU GPL. The aims of the project are to make GnuPG easy to install, develop a framework to make it easy for other developers to incorporate GnuPG functionality into their applications, write services to allow for the use of GnuPG functions in most Cocoa applications, and write a Mac GPG Keys type application so that you no longer have to go to the commandline to manage your keys. For those who don't know, GnuPG is a free OpenPGP client (PGP == Pretty Good Privacy). It can encrypt text (usually e-mail or other messages sent between people) and sign text to prove who wrote it. MacSniffer
MacSniffer is a front end to the built-in 'tcpdump' packet sniffer on Mac OS X. MacSniffer allows you to view all of the traffic on a network connection, such as ethernet.
MacSniffer includes a filter editing interface and a filter library to easily construct and reuse packet filters to view a subset of all the traffic on the connection, such as just that destined for a specific host or port.
You can choose the level of detail you want captured, from just the minimal packet headers (showing source and destination hosts and ports) up to a full hex and ASCII dump of the packet contents.
MacSniffer can be useful for diagnosing many network problems, debugging client/server programs, and scanning for particular network exploits in real time.

Just press the “Play!” button and you will be presented with a series of questions about the title, artist, album, year, or composer of tracks from your iTunes library. As the time ticks away, so do your points and options. To answer, press the button that corresponds to the correct answer to the question about the playing track. The faster you answer, the more points you will score, but be careful, you are penalized for incorrect answers! Every wrong answer subtracts points and time from the current question.

PrefEdit
PrefEdit is a utility that allows you to inspect and edit all preference settings for Mac OS X applications. The settings are displayed in a browser and can be edited by simple point-and-click operations. You can also do a full-text search on all settings, or clean up unused entries of applications that have been uninstalled.
PrefEdit can access all preference settings of "well-behaved" Carbon and Cocoa applications. Older Mac applications running in the Classic environment used a totally different system for storing preference settings. The settings of such programs do not appear in PrefEdit.
