AppZapper
Everybody loves the drag and drop nature of OS X. Drag an app into your applications folder, and it's installed. You'd think it would be that easy to delete an app - just a matter of dragging it to the trash. But it's not. Applications install preferences, caches, and other support files throughout your computer that take up space and generate clutter. Deleting these by hand every time you delete an app is a pain.

Fluid
Are you a Gmail, Facebook, Campfire or (Insert Your Favorite Webapp Here) fanatic? Do you have 20 or more browser tabs open at all times? Are you tired of some random site or Flash ad crashing your browser and causing you to lose your (say) Google Spreadsheets data in another tab?
If so, Site Specific Browsers (SSBs) provide a great solution for your webapp woes. Using Fluid, you can create SSBs to run each of your favorite webapps as a separate desktop application. Fluid gives any webapp a home on your Mac OS X desktop complete with Dock icon, standard menu bar, and logical separation from your other web browsing activity.
How does it work?
Fluid itself is a very small application. When launched, Fluid displays a small window where you specify the URL of a webapp you'd like to run in a Site Specific Browser. Provide an application name, click 'Create' and you'll be prompted to launch the new native Mac app you've just created.
Use Fluid to run YouTube, GTalk, Flickr, Basecamp, Delicious, .Mac webmail, or any other webapp as a separate Mac desktop application.
Anytime you click a link to another site in an SSB, the link is opened in your system default web browser, keeping your SSB dedicated to the original site you've specified.

Schreiben
Word Processor. Simple. Fast. Centric.
Schreiben was my first application for Mac OS X.
I needed a fast, clean and easy to use word processor which opens in the middle of the screen. I don‘t like the behaviour of other word processors you first have to center on the screen. Three years later Schreiben is still one of my favorite applications and because other developers let me learn from their code, I did not use Word for years now.Schreiben is based on the Cocoa Text System – so you can open and write RichText and Word Files. With version 3.0.1+ you can now open and save .docx (Word 2007) and .odt (Open Office Documents) and if needed export Word Documents with Pictures. You can create tables, drop and resize pictures or even write XML. Schreiben has got an integrated statistic (Character, Words, Lines) so you won´t miss your editors/teachers defaults. Schreiben can be used in Fullscreen View, supports Smart Quotes, automatically saving from documents with selectable interval and many formatting features that will help you creating well styled pages, writings, letters or even whole books. You can also store often used Snippets (so you don't have to start from scratch if you want to write a letter for example)…

VMware Fusion
VMware Fusion is the most seamless way to run Window on your Intel-based Mac. VMware Fusion allows you to run more than 60 ×86 operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, NetWare and Solaris, in virtual machines at the same time as Mac OS X, without rebooting.
VMware Fusion is built on VMware's rock-solid and advanced desktop virtualization platform that is used by over four million users today.
It's mature virtualization platform makes it the only virtualization product for Mac OS X that allows for SMP virtual machines (up to 2 cores assigned to a virtual machine), up to 8 GB of memory in a virtual machine, and allows you to use the full 16 GB available in a Mac Pro.

Xslimmer
Xslimmer reduces the disk space taken up by Universal Binary applications preserving just the Intel or PowerPC version.
Xslimmer is a new and user-friendly way to size down your Universal Binary apps, without losing any of their functionality by removing the code inside the Universal Binaries that does not fit with your machine's architecture, a code that never gets executed and just wastes your disk space.
In addition, Xslimmer can strip out unneeded languages. Safari is available in more than a dozen languages, Adium in more than 20. This is great, but how many of those do you need? Xslimmer allows you to select how many languages you want to preserve in your apps and will remove the rest, recovering lots of precious free space from your disk.
Now fully Leopard compatible!

yFlicks
yFlicks is a movie player based on Mac OS X's QuickTime Framework. But it's much more than that: yFlicks comprises a wide range of functionality, which previously required a slew of task-specific applications.
Most importantly, you can watch your movies just like you used to do with QuickTime Player. But in addition to that, yFlicks offers the ability to play videos in fullscreen mode, organize your videos in groups, search them, rate them, and browse them in preview mode.
Furthermore, you can easily download YouTube/Google/MyVideo videos, view them as flash videos (requires the excellent free Perian codec), and export them to other movie formats — e.g., for viewing them on your iPod.
