GPG Keychain Access

iLingual

Helps you localize other applications. There are other localizing tools like AppleGlot but, for many, they are too complicated and too difficult to use. I wanted an easier, more “Mac”-feeling tool, so I created iLingual.

There are no complicated settings; just drag and drop files, and you are ready. It has a dictionary, of course, and so you don’t need to repeat work you have already done. You can just focus on a small number of keywords.

If you want to use iLingual for commercial use (to localize shareware, package-ware or to localize for payment) then iLingual is shareware and costs $30. Please check the documentation about licensing.

However, if you want to use iLingual for non-commercial use (to localize freeware or to localize as volunteer) then it is freeware. Feel free to use it.

iStat nano

iStat nano is a stunning system monitor widget with beautifully animated menus and transitions.

View detailed stats about CPU usage, memory usage, hard drive space, bandwidth usage, temperatures, fan speeds, battery usage, uptime and the top 5 processes. iStat nano also shows your public IP address, which be can copied to your clipboard using one of the many keyboard shortcuts.

Jing

Jing is a screen capture application that allows you to select and capture parts of your screen and save that area as a static picture or even a movie.
Then you can add arrows, text and box highlights to draw further attention to the area you want to highlight.

The thing that makes Jing unique is that it has a "share" button, which allows you to share the image or video with a friend by connecting to the free screencast.com image hosting solution. Click share, it uploads your media behind the scenes, and places the link to the screen in your clipboard. You can then email or paste that URL into your chat application for your friends to see.

Keyclick

Keyclick is a Mac OS X preference pane that provides subtle audio feedback for each keystroke the system recognizes. Years ago keyboards were made with premium key switches that provided a resounding click when a key snapped over. Today most keyboards are made using rubber domes which can provide a similar force displacement or tactile feel, but not the sound. Human factors work on video terminals in the 1980s showed that the perception of keyboard crispness is correlated with audio feedback. Keyclick provides that feedback while improving on the original.

KeyCue

KeyCue helps you to use your Mac OS X applications more effectively. Just hold down the Command key for a while - KeyCue comes to help and shows a table of all currently available menu shortcuts. When you have found the desired shortcut in the KeyCue table, just type it and continue working as usual. The KeyCue window will disappear automatically.

You no longer need to memorize and remember key combinations, just press the command key and KeyCue tells you what you want to know.

Over time, you will automatically remember frequently used shortcuts and become a power user of your favorite applications, working much more efficiently.

Keywurl

MailFollowup

Adds a "Followup" items to the Message and contextual menus (and optionally a toolbar button) of Apple's Mail application that allows you to compose (and then send) a quoted version of the original message to all of the original recipients, keeping the To, Cc and Bcc addresses exactly as they appeared in the original message.

MailRecent

The MailRecent plugin adds "Copy to Recent," "Move to Recent," and "Go to Recent" menu items to Apple's Mail application. These menu items contain dynamically-updated lists of recently used mailboxes. The number of mailboxes kept in the list is determined by the "Number of Recent Items" setting for Documents in the Appearance panel of the OS X System Preferences.

MailWidget

This widget checks your Apple Mail account every time Dashboard is activated without having Apple Mail running all the time. It is able to check all your POP, IMAP, Exchange and .Mac accounts. Unlike other widgets MailWidget knows which mail from your POP account has been received in Apple Mail. That’s especially interesting for those who do not have an IMAP account and therefore are not deleting their old mail from the POP mail server immediately in order to be able to read their last mails on travels via webmail.

Other widgets would say something like “there are 88 eMails on the mail server” but only MailWidget will tell if there are new eMails that doesn’t have been already received by Apple Mail.

Safari Tidy plugin

The Safari Tidy plugin is a small plugin that lets you validate the webpages you browse for (X)HTML compliance. The actual validation is done by Tidy.
In the bottom right corner of each browser window you will see the amount of warnings and errors the current page has, along with a small icon.
Clicking on the icon will show the source of the current page.
The default 'view-source' window of Safari is extended so that it shows all the errors and warnings in a list. The lines containing errors are highlighted so they can be located easily.

SafariBlock

SafariBlock is an ingenius ad blocker plug-in for Safari. It is small, unobtrusive, and free... but very powerful. You can right-click on an ad area and choose to block it whether it is an image, flash, or even a frame. Use the asterisk early in the URL to block anything that begins with what precedes the asterisk.

ShapeOnYou is a little application that can display and animate different 3D shapes. Skim is a free PDF reading and note-taking app for Mac OS X that is designed to make reading research papers and manuals better.

UnifyCamino

UnifyCamino is a plugin which lets you customize the appearance of the Camino web browser. It changes the colour of the bookmarks toolbar so that it matches the 'unified' toolbar look on Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.
