iSnip

iSnip is the easiest way to manage and access your text snippets. iSnip lives in the menu bar, right next to the Time, Volume, and similar menus. App Update
App Update scans directories you specify for share- and freeware applications and looks for updates at Apple.com, MacUpdate and VersionTracker. It will produce a tidy list of updates with links to the download pages. App Update comes with plenty of features such as Growl support, ability to manage application versioning data, support for preference panes, quicktime plugins and frameworks, and more. Everybody loves the drag and drop nature of OS X. Drag an app into your applications folder, and it's installed. BootCD
BootCD is a Cocoa app that creates a disk image that can be used to burn a MacOS X boot CD with a working Finder and Dock on it. This utility is unfinished and still has some flaws, but works. The current version works much better than previous versions, and includes the ability to run Drive10 and other utilities, although Norton does not yet work from the CD.

PrefEdit
PrefEdit is a utility that allows you to inspect and edit all preference settings for Mac OS X applications. The settings are displayed in a browser and can be edited by simple point-and-click operations. You can also do a full-text search on all settings, or clean up unused entries of applications that have been uninstalled.
PrefEdit can access all preference settings of "well-behaved" Carbon and Cocoa applications. Older Mac applications running in the Classic environment used a totally different system for storing preference settings. The settings of such programs do not appear in PrefEdit.

Split & Concat
In Internet newsgroups large files often are split into smaller parts since messages can't be of more than a certain size to be able to post them in newsgroups. For that reason you can find often binary files that are split in parts like filename.mp3.001, filename.mp3.002, filename.mp3.003 It is possible to put these parts together using commands in the Terminal yet not everybody is handy with that. Split & Concat is a small utility with the OS X interface that makes it easy for people to split large files to be uploaded, or to put together split files downloaded from the Internet.
