You'd think it would be that easy to delete an app - just a matter of dragging it to the trash. But it's not. Applications install preferences, caches, and other support files throughout your computer that take up space and generate clutter. Deleting these by hand every time you delete an app is a pain.

Trampoline
Trampoline is the upgraded successor to Bullseye. If there are six or ten apps or folders that you use a lot, and you have a big screen, then eventually you will have spent weeks of your life just hauling the mouse over to the same few little spots in the dock. Trampoline makes a circular 'dock' appear right under your cursor, wherever it is, when you hit a chosen hotkey or Mighty Mouse button. It dismisses just as fast, so this thing doesn't get in your face much, but it can make your life a tiny bit smoother, many times a day. Folders can be nested, but otherwise this is not an app that tries to assimilate you with its mass of features. It's just a little launcher for your most used items.

If you have never taken any lessons in typing before, please be patient. Typing is not difficult but it does take a lot of practice. Avoid the tendency to look down at your fingers while typing. This is a very bad habit and is hard to break later.If you have always used the hunt-and-peck method, you will have an even harder time keeping yourself from looking. Don't be surprised if you find touch typing slower than your old ways. It may be slower when you first start. But, touch typing is far faster once you get the hang of it.
