Quake

Originally made by ID Software, Quake is now opensource.
There are many versions of the mac quake engine available (eg, NPR Quake, Atari Quake, Fruitz of Dojo Quake...etc), so I have linked to the most popular one GLQuake .
For those who have been living on another planet ( :D mars?), Quake is a First Person Shooter similar to other classics such as the Doom series, Duke Nukem and Wolfenstein.
Battle through the official levels battling monsters and demons from hell, and then download custom made maps from other players out there and try new, unseen maps and levels....the opensource aspect makes the variability virtually endless.A True classic and one of the finest FPS' out there (think lots of Blood, Guts and Gore).
Intel macs have varied success but just try different engines to find what works for you.

Wraparound is an application primarily intended for users with large and/or multiple screens, which allows the mouse cursor to "wrap" around the screens. Rather than spending time and energy moving the cursor across the screen, from one side to the other, simply drag it off one edge and it immediately appears on the other side.
Wraparound can handle even the most abnormal of screen layout configurations, and even allow windows and other objects to be dragged though screen edges. And if you're worried about not being able to hit your menu bar or dock without the edge to stop the cursor, you can always turn off horizontal or vertical screen wrapping to suit your preferences. It also preserves screensavers and Exposé functionality with variable sized non-wrapping areas at the corners.

Iconic
Iconic was thrown together in just one night because of a need to create a ton of icon thumbnails and have control over when and how they were done. I was tired of opening a directory and having my machine churn away while OS X automatically made the icons for the images in a folder. I would much rather turn that Finder option off to speed up the interface and then make thumbnails in the background when I'm doing something else. So, I decided to throw this together.
Note: Iconic is not a finished product, per se. I have released it to the public because I feel that some people might get some use out of it. I use it constantly to create the images on my web pages because I can drop a full size image on it and quickly get a nice small image with drop shadows and everything (without having to start Photoshop). But, Iconic may have some problems. If you experience problems with it then let me know so that I can fix them.

tap
In computer networking, TUN and TAP are virtual network kernel drivers. They implement network devices that are supported entirely in software, which is different from ordinary network devices that are backed up by hardware network adapters.
TAP (as in network TAP) simulates an Ethernet device and it operates with Layer 2 packets such as Ethernet frames. TUN (as in network TUNnel) simulates a network layer device and it operates with Layer 3 packets such as IP packets. TAP is used to create a Network bridge, while TUN is used with Routing.
Packets sent by an operating system via a TUN/TAP device are delivered to a user-space program that attaches itself to the device. A user-space program may also pass packets into a TUN/TAP device. In this case TUN/TAP device delivers (or "injects") these packets to the operating system network stack thus emulating their reception from an external source.
