DropHash

DropHash is a Mac OS X application for computing hash values for files.
At many download sites, you'll see hash values with labels like "MD5" or "SHA-1". Once you have downloaded one of these files, you can compare the hash published on the server with the hash computed from the file you downloaded. If they match, then you got the file correctly, otherwise it was damaged or has been tampered with.
DropHash is a thin GUI wrapper around OpenSSL, a free program included with Mac OS X. Many users will find this interface preferable to having to fool around with Terminal commands. DropHash is a Universal Binary and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.
Here's the SHA-1 hash for DropHash.zip: bdcdf7f3ed8c07c744494ff14116d5ae9bf889d4

This reliably prevents private data from being sent out without your knowledge. Little Snitch runs inconspicuously in the background and it can also detect network related activity of viruses, trojans and other malware.

MoKgVm2DVD

MoKgVm2DVD is an OS X application that provides the tools needed to prepare .ogm and .mkv files for use in DivX enabled DVD players. These players typically require videos to be in AVI container files (i.e., have .avi extensions) using any of the following codecs:
Video: mpeg4 (e.g., Divx or Xvid) but not h.264
Audio: mp3 or ac3 but not ogg/vorbis or aac
Most players will also support separate subtitle files. Typically the subtitle file must have the same name as the .avi file.
MoKgVm2DVD will let you select the tracks from the .mkv or .ogm file and either copy the tracks to the new .avi file or, if needed, re-encode the track(s) using the XviD codec. You can also extract any of the tracks into separate files.
The table below shows the current abilities and limitations of MoKgVm2DVD based on limited testing. Please let me know if you have different results.

Trampoline

Trampoline is the upgraded successor to Bullseye. If there are six or ten apps or folders that you use a lot, and you have a big screen, then eventually you will have spent weeks of your life just hauling the mouse over to the same few little spots in the dock. Trampoline makes a circular 'dock' appear right under your cursor, wherever it is, when you hit a chosen hotkey or Mighty Mouse button. It dismisses just as fast, so this thing doesn't get in your face much, but it can make your life a tiny bit smoother, many times a day. AppZapper
Everybody loves the drag and drop nature of OS X. Drag an app into your applications folder, and it's installed. You'd think it would be that easy to delete an app - just a matter of dragging it to the trash. But it's not. Applications install preferences, caches, and other support files throughout your computer that take up space and generate clutter. Deleting these by hand every time you delete an app is a pain.

Boot Camp
Boot Camp is a MacOS X.5 Leopard feature that manages to install a (licensed) Windows XP or Vista operating system on a Mac computer in a dedicated partition.
A program called Boot Camp Assistant helps in creating a new disk partition on a Mac machine keeping all the data safe. When Windows is installed on that partition, the drivers needed can be found on Leopard DVD.
Boot Camp installs a bootloader to choose the operating system to load. It can be run at startup by pressing ALT button. Boot Camp even provides an automatic PC Key remapping program.
All the drivers Apple provides are Microsoft WHQL-Certified.
This program used to be a public beta before Leopard's final release. Now it continues to work on Tiger systems but can't be downloaded any more from Apple's website nor it is supported on any OS than Leopard.
From early version of Leopard, it seemed that one could perform a system hybernation on both system to fast-switch between the two. Now this feature is not present.

Coda
So, we code web sites by hand. And one day, it hit us: our web workflow was wonky. We’d have our text editor open, with Transmit open to save files to the server. We’d be previewing in Safari, running queries in Terminal, using a CSS editor, and reading references on the web. “This could be easier,” we realized. “And much cooler.”

Compare Folders
"Compare Folders is a powerful utility designed to compare two folders and tell you which files are the same, which are new, and which have been modified."
Perhaps you've noticed or become victim to a "feature" of Finder: when copying or moving folders from one location to another, if a folder with the same name already exists, its contents are obliterated by the replacement.
This is especially disconcerting for "switchers" as the default Windows method is to merge and only overwrite duplicate files after prompting.
With Compare Folders you can quickly identify duplicate files, unique files (missing from one side), and close matches. The results are recursive, and files can be inspected or copied to a target folder in batch or singularly.
There is no "quick-sync" button to automatically synchronize the two folders and query on conflicts, but it is far and away a time saver compared to Finder.
The demo is limited to 9 compare operations, and offers integration with .Mac (iDisk), Growl and Path Finder. Folder presets can be saved, and results can be exported as text.

"Clip" web pages and other content without leaving the application you're working in. Annotate your information with highlighting, keywords, even voice recordings. Find anything instantly with just a few clicks using NoteBook's patented indexing system. Then convert it all to PDF, or to HTML and publish directly to your .Mac account or elsewhere on the web.
"Macworld's buying advice: ...to organize all your Mac thoughts — text, image, sound, web links — you should plump for Circus Ponies NoteBook: an app so Mac-like that the name should get the 'i' prefix." -- Richard Dyce, Macworld UK (4.5 stars)
