iDive does for digital video what iPhoto does for digital photography. This is, in my opinion, the one glaring hole in Apple's iLife suite. There really isn't any good way to organize and catalog digital video. iDive does this and does it well, even with removable media. For me, this is essential as I have literally hundreds of hours of footage burned to DVD.
